About me
I have been working in mental health for over 15 years in NHS services as well as private practice. My interest in this work began early on, and over time it has grown into a genuine passion for understanding people’s experiences and helping them find a way through difficult moments in their lives. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings both in the UK and internationally. I speak fluent Arabic and English and I deliver therapy in both languages.
I hold full accreditation with the British association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP) and Interpersonal Therapy UK (IPT UK). I receive regular supervision and I attend ongoing training, so I can keep developing my practice and support the people I work with in the most helpful and effective way. As well as working as a therapist - I am also a Senior Course Tutor at Anna Freud where I supervise the UCL Post-graduate Diploma course for Children and Young peoples psychological therapies.
